Campaign Story

Hi, my name is Audre, and my husband’s name is Nick. We’ve been facing infertility for about five years now. During this time, we’ve experienced two miscarriages and were blessed with one beautiful daughter. She was the light of our lives and our world revolved around her.

Our daughter lived for two precious years before passing away in January 2025 due to genetic complications and sepsis. She endured so much—she had a tracheostomy, a feeding tube, seizures, a heart condition, and multiple surgeries. Despite it all, she was strong, full of love, and our greatest gift. Losing her was—and continues to be—devastating.

After everything we’ve been through, we weren’t sure if we could ever try for more children. But as time has passed, we’ve come to realize that our hearts still long to grow our family.

We’ve since learned that I have a low egg reserve for my age, and Nick has a balanced translocation—a genetic condition that was passed on to our daughter, which caused her complications. After extensive testing and genetic counseling, we were advised that the best path forward to reduce the risk of passing on this condition is IVF with genetic testing. This would allow doctors to select healthy embryos before implantation.

We are now preparing to begin the IVF process so we can freeze embryos and move forward when we’re ready. Unfortunately, the financial burden is significant, and that’s why we’re reaching out for help.

Every donation—no matter the size—will bring us closer to giving our future children a healthy start in life. More than anything, it will help bring back hope and a spark of joy to our lives. We know deep in our hearts that our family isn’t finished yet.

Thank you for reading our story and for considering being a part of our journey.

With love,

Audre & Nick
